ROSSO D'ARNALDO I.G.T.
Indicazione Geografica Tipica
The flagship wine of the Cantina Crociani, created by Arnaldo as a result of his long experience
as a cellarman. Made according to time-honoured methods of vinification this wine commands respect
from other winemakers in the area.
GRAPE VARIETIES: Prugnolo Gentile 60%, Canaiolo Nero 15%, Mammolo 15%, Colorino 5%,
Pulcinculo 5%.
VINIFICATION: Traditional with 18 – 22 days maceration. It is pumped over twice daily in
the first seven days and then once a day thereafter.
AGEING: It is matured for one year in Slavonian oak barrels and after six months transferred
to smaller barrels to add a vanilla and oak nuance.
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 13%
TASTING NOTES: Intense ruby colour, strong aromatic bouquet with hints of red fruits. Full fruit
on the palate with well structured tannins and a finish that is the true essence of the wine.
FOOD MATCHES: Roasted red meats, strong stews and grills.
PRODUCTION: 5.000 per year

This red wine should be enjoyed in the company of good friends.
It goes perfectly with pleasant conversation and well-kept secrets, especially when shared with light-hearted and cheerful people.
It was dreamed up by Giorgio Crociani, and has the same qualities of simplicity, spontaneity and integrity that we all appreciated in him.
"Il Segreto di Giorgio" ("Giorgio's Secret") has been produced as a tribute to him; each bottle is numbered and should be drunk to celebrate a special occasion!

A vino da tavola. Its name comes from the vineyards from which it is produced, in the area of "Caggiole".
GRAPE VARIETIES: Trebbiano 70%, Chardonnay 30%.
VINIFICATION: Traditional
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 12%
TASTING NOTES: the wine is pale straw yellow in colour with a floral aroma and hints of flora
on the palate.
FOOD MATCHES: As an aperitif, it goes well with light fishes starters and grilled sea bass
or lightly grilled chicken.
PRODUCTION: 6.000 bottles per year.

CAGGIOLINO ROSSO, TOSCANO ROSSO I.G.T.

A vino da tavola, its name comes from the area in the vineyard called "Caggiole".
GRAPE VARIETIES: Sangiovese Grosso, Canaiolo e Pulcinculo.
VINIFICATION: Traditional with a long time maceration (18-22 days).
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 12.5%
TASTING NOTES: Ruby in colour, strong fruit with a fresh floral bouquet. Soft on the palate, hints of black fruits
and soft vanilla lead to a soft structured finish.
FOOD MATCHES: To be drunk young, it is an excellent wine by the glass or with roasted chicken and tuna with a light
tomato sauce.
PRODUCTION: 10.000 bottles per year.

GRAPPA DI VINACCE DI VINO NOBILE
This Grappa derives from the traditional distilling of choice Vino Nobile di Montepulciano residue in ancient steam-heated copper stills.
The quality of the lightly pressed residue and the great care taken over its distillation results in a superior product.
ALCOHOLIC CONTENT: 42%
TASTING NOTES:The Grappa is crystal clear, its perfume intense and rich with scents of the harvest
and the Tuscan autumn, whilst in the mouth it is enjoyably warm and long lingering.
FOOD MATCHES: An excellent after dinner drink which could be accompanied by dark bitter chocolate.
It should be served cool in tulip-shaped glasses.
PRODUCTION: 2.000 bottles year.

This typical product of Montepulciano is the first cold pressing from a variety of olives, hand-picked at the beginning of November.

TASTING NOTES: it is deep green in colour and the taste is fruity, intense without any hints of acidity.
